Sweat the Details

I have a tendency to sweat little details in life and my goal for 2013 is to relax a bit and stop sweating the little details.

However, this doesn’t apply to the UX field. I believe in our industry that sweating the small details is what matters. Dan Saffer is writing a book called Microinteractions. Small interactions are crucial to the overall experience. Obviously an overall experience of a functional product is fundamental and is extremely necessary. Yet, I also believe that as UX professionals, we need to give a lot of though to these little details that will have a big affect on the user.

Love your users and make sure that each detail is just right.
